Descent

What is Descent ?

Descent is a 2D puzzle platformer game in which you will have to use your magic powers in order to move through the puzzles, and find your way down the tower in which you're stuck.

Your powers :

In this game, you have two main powers that you can use to overcome your obstacles :

Gravity change :

You can alter gravity by the pression of the right mouse button. This is useful when trying to avoid spiked grounds, or gain access to otherwise unreachable areas.

Platform displacement :

You also have the power to move certain platforms in a vertical or horizontal manner with the help of your left mouse click. Useful when passing a hallway full of hazards.

Grab and release crates :

Granted, this one is not a power, but you can lift up pretty heavy boxes, and use them to trigger mechanics or to serve as improvised platforms.

Use your powers to beat the logical problems you're confronted to!

Oh, and secrets !

There are extra collectibles hidden within each levels, make sure to grab them if you feel confident enough!

Controls :

Q-D or Directionnal arrows : Move left/right

Space : Jump

Right click : Invert gravity

Left click (Click and drag) : Move a platform

E : Grab / Drop box

R : Reload the current screen
